Proofreading
Proofreading involves checking spelling, punctuation, grammar, ensuring consistency of layout and formatting, and that the text is coherent and readable. More ...Choose this if you have a completed text which just needs checking.
Copy Editing
Copy Editing involves making sure that the text is edited to suit the target audience. It may include suggestions for rewording or restructuring depending on the quality of the original text. More ...Choose this if you have a completed text but you need suggestions for improvement of style, readability, formatting.
Writing support
Writing Support is a writing development service involving a closer relationship with an author where there is a need for a deeper examination of the writer's goals. More ...Choose this if you have a text which is more than 80% completed but you need help to complete it.
The Editorial Process
Our agreement with you
Once you have submitted an order along with your text we review your text and your requirements. We confirm the level of work required and the deadline for completion.
Our editing process
We document every change to your text and we let you know if there are any fundamental changes which may need to be made to your text, so that you can decide whether to accept them or not.
Our interaction with you
We check spelling, grammar, punctuation, readability, formatting, style, references and more depending on your requirements.
Delivery
We return your text to you along with a separate document explaining all the changes which have been made plus any other suggested ones.
Please note that we only deal with non-fiction texts: technical, academic, explanatory. Please also note that we are not a document writing service. We do NOT write essays to order. Also note that we DO NOT USE AI tools in the editing process.
