Many students may not agree, but learning to write well is one of the most interesting and useful things you can do. Writing is probably the most important technology ever invented and today it is ever more important to be able to write well; to understand how to state your case, to argue and to persuade. It is also important to understand how others use text to persuade and influence you.

This site is written by people with long experience of teaching writing to students from various backgrounds who are studying at a tertiary level. Our aim is to provide a resource for both students and teachers which is interesting and innovative.
